The Toarp Estate is located high and beautiful on a hill with a expansive view. The sun rises in one lake and sets in another. Toarp Estate has ancient ancestors from the 1400s. In old times, the owners had names like Wrangel, De la Gardie, Stenbock, Lillie, Sparre and Bjornberg. They were all nobles or senior military.
These days The Toarp Estate carries out sheep farming, wool processing and sale of woolen plaids and sheepskins. We have forestry and conservation of Swedish breeds. Our horses work with us in the forestry and agriculture.
THE STORE
At Toarp we have a store / showroom where you can shop our nice blankets, skins, plaids and scarves. It is open by arrangement.
We make our plaids of carefully selected wool from Swedish sheep and lamb. The Toarp plaid is a natural product that breathes quality, consideration and history. The skins come from our own Gothic sheep and are amazing in short or long hair.
THE FUTURE
The Toarp Estate is full of heritage and exciting stories from past times. In the middle today meets the future.
